Arts in Mind
Creativity. Community. Connection.
Helping people use creativity to improve life for those living with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, other brain change, and the people who care for them.
Whether you’re an artist, art therapist, caregiver, community organizer, senior living professional, or simply someone who believes creativity belongs in dementia care—you belong here.

Why Arts in Mind?
Every day, incredible creative work is developed to improve the lives of those living with dementia and their caregivers.
Art therapists providing 1:1 care in their own neighborhoods
- Community organizers hosting events to distribute resources and no small amounts of joy
- Museums hosting programs welcoming those living with brain change and their families to experience new things in safe spaces
- Care communities onboarding innovative therapies to ease the symptoms that accompany dementia
- Artists creating novel work to share their experiences living with dementia, supporting loved ones with dementia
Through more than 10 years of advocacy, I have found amazing people doing great work and progressing toward a collective, complementary goal. Arts in Mind seeks to be the connective tissue among these groups, and we hope to be a catalyst toward a more inclusive world for those living with dementia.
Arts in Mind exists to connect the people doing this work, share what is working, and make it easier for more communities to bring meaningful creative experiences to people living with dementia and those who care for them.
We’re building a growing community where ideas, opportunities, and inspiration are meant to be shared.
