Hi, I’m Shannon, professional story teller, communicator, and entrepreneur based in Delaware.
I always wanted to be a writer “when I grow up.” And through multiple practical applications of this craft — reporter, copy editor, managing editor, marketer — I am proud to say I have lived By My Pen.
Today, I own a business helping people and organizations to tell their stories and to communicate a point to their desired audience.
A few of the fun ways I get to do this:
- Partner with a nonprofit to build a community >540 through user-submitted content shared throughout the content channels and long-term engagement through support of that content and engagement with the community members
- Collaborate with a peer-to-peer medical education company to increase awareness of and interaction with continuing education content, keeping the user experience front-and-center
- Curate personal brand messaging to advance thought leadership goals of a business executive with the support of LinkedIn post strategy, newsletter development, and ghostwritten publications identified through targeted pitching
- Develop an engagement strategy for a small service business, evaluating current digital communications, email marketing, website content, and social media to tailor a comprehensive strategy authentic to the desired audience
